I enjoy all the articles and am a special fan of Sasha Paulsen and Tim Carl. They write about what makes Napa special but they don't descend to mere boosterism.
Your in-depth journalism has been wonderful and fills a growing need. Thank you, so much, for all that you do. I’d like to see more investigative pieces though. There seems to be a lot going on through-out the county that has been somewhat lightly brushed off.
I truly enjoy the journalism. I also enjoy the articles that don’t include wine, and restaurants so much. I want to know other aspects about Napa Valley and the people who contribute to this beautiful community. Thank you
I know grapes and wine drive our economy, but the topic comes up a lot in the form of profiles of people in the industry. I am more interested in the lesser known stories about our Valley.
It's very helpful to me as a long time resident of Napa to get an economic perspective of the industry, politics, medical care and community of Napa and Napa Valley. There's always a story behind each of those. I want to know what has happened to Yountville. It's never developed as a community for its residents with medical, retail, grocery stores, hardware for every day life. I was shocked when I recently visited it to shop for clothing. Non existent except one store. It's all for the tourists. Vintage 1870 is a ghost building. Signage is totally misleading. Restaurants are for the very wealthy and tourists. It's like a Barbie Vacation Land. What's the story? What's the story for our City of Napa? The old Post Office? The old Safeway? Why does Midtown/Downtown Napa have to drive to North Napa or South Napa to get everyday services? Why aren't our existing ordinances enforced? Like commercial businesses with signs in the windows in residential neighborhoods? On and on. Thanks.
I read almost every piece. The writing is exceptional. And I love the photography. Keep doing what you’re doing. I’m very happy to support your efforts.
Thank you. I like the format and the content. And it is particularly gratifying to see some of our local journalists back (Sasha Paulson, for example).
I see in the poll that sports is not something subscribers have interest in. However, we do have local sports figures that have interesting stories. My son, graduating in journalism at SF State in Dec. and NV native, interviewed Calistogan Dick Vermeil as one of his assignments. I wonder about the interest of local sports stories, not so much game reporting. My son might have interest in doing an occasional piece. ?
Napa Valley Features has all the best journalists - beginning with Tim Carl, Paul Franson and Sasha Paulsen. All three strike a perfect balance between reporting and perspective.
The "local events" aspect of your publication is wonderful. Great for planning purposes.
keep it coming - you're finding your audience and have a clear voice

Too many articles on wineries and winemakers.

How do I offer a suggestion for an upcoming event to be featured, and/or for a story idea?

Oops ! I voted the incorrectly: please count me for wanting "in-depth journalism;" "local events" is least.
No way to change answers but we have noted the sentiment. What did you actually vote for?
Most important: profiles
Least important: in-depth journalism

Thank you Thomas and we also have a strong and deep team of contributors. Grateful for your consistent and supportive encouragement.
I mismarked on thing. I never read the food and wine sections!!! Otherwise I enjoy the articles.
Very much appreciate your digging below the surface on relevant Napa Valley matters. Michael Dellar
