Nothing of benefit to residents. More dangerous traffic on Highway 29. Unmitigated increase in flooding of neighboring parcels. Loss of on-site housing currently occupied by local families.

Although I respect your point of view, as a resident I absolutely love the joy that this event brings to the locals who visit. There are smiles, children laughing and family spending time together in a communal setting that isn't focused on consumerism. My hope is that everyone spend a few moments during the holidays to connect with their community and this is one way. There are others - volunteering, animal rescue, conservation group, house building, etc. Happy Holidays.

This plan is a NIGHTMARE! WHY would we wish to turn such a lovely lane into a traffic impossible? No room on the road, and with a need of big trucks, lots of tourists, and inn residents clogging the works, we are begging for a disaster. NO!!!

What the wha!?!? Everything about this seems wrong! 79 rooms?! That’s no “boutique”. PARKING GARAGE? (How high?) CONFERENCE ROOMS!? Why have conference rooms at a “small” resort? “If you give a mouse a cookie…. “ Am I right, or am I right? And more… OMG my mind is spinning with the thought of this monstrosity. I’m sure I’m not thinking of everything.

Jeez - I thought the WDO / Ag Preserve and other restrictions were in place to maintain Napa Valley’s agricultural focus, so it wouldn’t get over developed like some other formerly fine agricultural areas in CA. Oh gack, I’m no lawyer, but I’m sure there is some loophole or two that this multi-billion $ corporation and their team of in-house lawyers are leveraging to make this Not-from-Napa Family Office’s cash-printing investment dreams come true.

Stand strong Lodi Lane!!

Ps- And that Duckhorn
