I agree with everything Penny said. If you're new to Salvias, in addition to Hot Lips, I recommend Black and Blue (The hummers were dive bombing me this morning as I tried to deadhead), and Armistad.
Penny, you wrote about some of my favorite plants! The 'hot lips' I have is a magnet for carpenter bees and bumblebees bees! I plan to plant more varieties. Thanks!
